Study Programs
The continuously growing, modern, future-oriented Ansbach University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1996. Currently, the talents of more than 3300 students are fostered here in our educational institution in the faculties of business, engineering, and media. Together, they bundle a total of 18 Bachelor's and 15 Master's degree programs at the main location in Ansbach and the four branch campuses in Feuchtwangen, Herrieden, Rothenburg, and Weißenburg. A special feature is that Ansbach University of Applied Sciences is the only university in Bavaria with an independent media faculty.
Ansbach University of Applied Sciences welcomes both international students who wish to complete a full course of study and exchange students from partner universities around the world. The study program is predominantly conducted in small groups. A high level of practical relevance and close links with business and industry set the course for an optimal transition into working life. There is a choice of different courses taught in English. In addition, three master's programs are completed entirely in English, and three others have an international focus. Exchange students are exempt from the requirement to prove German language skills. However, a good knowledge of German is essential. We recommend language level B2 or higher.
During the orientation weeks, all exchange students are offered a free cultural program to get to know each other, as well as a preparatory German course, which continues throughout the semester. On the familiar campus of Ansbach University of Applied Sciences, you can do both: study successfully and feel at home. Contacts are quickly made. There is an exceptionally large free time program available: sports, theater, dancing, art, photography, orchestra, bands, cinema, party.
